The Best Aurelia Build for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

The Best Aurelia Build for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

There is no doubt that Borderlands has a lot of interesting characters. Among them, we can find Aurelia, the Baroness. Aurelia is the sister of Sir Hammerlock, one of the most important characters in the game. This villain and ally of Handsome Jack is one of the secondary antagonists of Borderlands 3, but in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, she is a playable character.

Being one of the least popular characters, very few people understand the enormous potential of Aurelia, so in this guide, we will see the best builds for Aurelia in the Pre-Sequel.

Best equipment for Aurelia

Best weapon: The Skullmasher

This weapon is ideal for Aurelia. With her Skill Tree, she benefits a lot from the critical damage of a Sniper Rifle, and this is ideal for that. But on the other hand, it can fire six ammunition at the same time, so she can also use it as a shotgun and activate other effects like I Never Miss or Magic Bullet.

Other rifles that can also be very useful with Aurelia are Snider or Droog.

Best weapon: The Skullmasher

As a second weapon, we recommend using Hail. This machine gun will be very useful when fighting difficult bosses that will kill you in a few seconds. Its effect with Life Steal will allow you to stay in battle while hitting critical hits and doing cryo damage.

Best Shield: Tediore Shields

There is no specific shield that we can recommend with The Baroness. Instead of looking for a shield that has a particular effect, you should focus on finding one that has a quick charge to activate Aurelia’s skills. For that, Tediore brand shields will be the best, as they are the fastest-charging shields in the entire game.

    Best Shield: Tediore Shields

Best Grenade: Storm Front

Since Cryo damage is weak against shields, you will need something additional to destroy them, and Storm Front is perfect for that. Whenever you see a wave of shielded enemies, start the fight with one of these grenades and get your rifle ready, you’ll see how fast you can finish them off.

Best Oz Kit: Juggernaut

This Oz Kit is usually not the best in the game, but with Aurelia you will get the most out of it. Since you will be using Tediore shields, you will have a fast charge, but a low shield. If you are under attack, most of Aurelia’s skills will not activate, and you will be susceptible to an enemy attack. That’s when this shield comes into play, giving you the extra defense you need to survive when enemies catch you in a bad position.

Best Class Mod: Celestial Baroness

Did you notice that in the Skill Tree, there are some skills with 8 or 9 points? That’s because of this Class Mod. Apart from the extra points, you will get a huge damage increase, giving you a chance to survive a bit longer.
